The SSFA is a law that was signed in Jan 2025 and the payments under this act was officially disbursed from Feb 2025. This Social Security Fairness Act:
- Repeals Windfall Elimination Provision: This provision reduced the SSA benefits of those who claim the pension from Non covered employment and they also qualify for the Social security from other work.
